The Grand Theatre of Rabat, the capital city of Morocco. Designed by Zaha Hadid and her architectural firm. The building was among the last projects designed by Hadid before her death in 2016. It was commissioned by King Mohamed V1 as part of a wider national initiative to promote arts and cultural development. The curving structure is inspired by the nearby winding river and the aesthetics of Arabic calligraphy.
